Who We Are

Our website address is: https://lionstone.cpa.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on our website, we collect the information provided in the comments form along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to assist with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible next to your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, we recommend avoiding images that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to our site can download and extract location data from images on the website.

Cookies

When you leave a comment, you may choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These cookies are provided for your convenience, so you do not need to re-enter your details when leaving additional comments. These cookies remain valid for one year.

If you access our login page, a temporary cookie will be created to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

Upon logging in, we set several cookies to store your login details and screen display preferences. Login cookies expire after two days, while screen options cookies last for one year. Selecting “Remember Me” extends your login persistence to two weeks. Logging out of your account will remove these login cookies.

Editing or publishing an article will result in an additional cookie saved in your browser. This cookie does not contain personal data and simply notes the post ID of the article you edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on our website may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you had visited that external website directly.

These external websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor interactions with embedded content. If you have an account and are logged into these external websites, your interactions with the embedded content may also be tracked.

Who We Share Your Data With

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments rather than holding them in moderation.

For registered users on our website (if any), we store the personal information provided in their user profiles. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, with the exception of changing their username. Website administrators also have access to view and edit this information.

Your Rights Over Your Data

If you have an account on our website or have left comments, you may request an exported file of the personal data we retain about you, including any information you have provided. You can also request that we erase your personal data. This excludes data that we are obligated to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where We Send Your Data

Visitor comments may be screened through an automated spam detection service.
